EWAN MCGREGOR
HIMSELF NOW HAS ONE OF MY PRINTS! Yes, it's true, Ewan has
officially received, thanks to his agent at CAA, a print of
my painting of him (at right, done for the September issue
of CB Teen). So, if Ewan has one, why not you?
I
love my editor at CollegeBound! She gave me my first opportunity
ever to attend a press junket. While I’m not a writer,
I am a celebrity illustrator, so this was very exciting for
me. It was the junket for "Down With Love", the
new Ewan McGregor/Renee Zellweger romantic comedy (check out
the official site here).
It was a small junket, where I sat with 11 other journalists
to meet and interview Ewan, Renee, David Hyde Pierce, Sarah
Paulson, director Payton Reed, and producers Dan Jinks and
Bruce Cohen. I brought along my postcards (with the drawing
of Gwyneth Paltrow) for them, and now Ewan, David, and Sarah
all have one. Their reactions?
Ewan:
"That’s brilliant!"
Sarah:
"I was hoping I would get one of these!"
David:
"I hope my tits look that good."
The
stars were amazingly gracious and friendly, and the movie

Teen has officially launched this fall, and the feedback is
nothing less than thrilling. Everyone loves the new look.
I am very proud to have completed the redesign, and I am even
more proud of my art dept. coworkers and all of our efforts
to make each issue better than the last. To get a better idea
